Mary Merrill is Senior Vice President of Private Equity, managing subordinated debt and private equity activities for Marshall BankFirst Corp. Merrill has more than 20 years of experience in private debt and equity, with expertise in direct investments and lending, private placements, acquisitions, strategic advisory services, and valuations. Most recently, she spent seven years in investment banking handling middle market private placements of debt and equity, including founding a boutique investment bank she subsequently sold. Previously, Mary served as Chief Financial Officer and Director of a west coast wireless retail and service company, where she was instrumental in raising significant growth capital and positioning the company to expand to multiple states with web-based operations serving clients nationwide. Prior to that, Ms. Merrill was a partner for six years at Churchill Capital, a family of private equity and subordinated debt funds now exceeding $1 billion under management. Merrill holds a bachelor’s degree in business and a master’s degree in finance and international business from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. |

Ben Ollendick is a Financial Analyst for Marshall BankFirst's Corporate Capital Division. Along with the office's senior underwriters, he is responsible for the development, underwriting, structuring, analysis and closing of corporate credit facilities. Ollendick was previously employed at U.S. Bank in the Corporate Investments and Private Equity Management divisions. Ollendick holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire and a master’s degree in finance from the University of St. Thomas. |
