Steven Erickson is Managing Director for Marshall BankFirst's Native American Finance and Gaming Division. Based in Minneapolis, he has more than 30 years of industry experience. He is responsible for gaming finance, including Native American finance, riverboats, racetracks, casinos, hotels and gaming equipment. Prior to joining Marshall BankFirst Corp, Erickson was a senior banker for Miller & Shroeder for nearly 30 years, where he specialized in healthcare finance and arranged approximately $5 billion for acute care hospitals from 1971 to 1993. His 30 years of experience have proven invaluable to the Native American community as he has originated numerous financing structures for many Indian Nations. Prior to becoming an investment banker, he practiced securities law with Gray, Cary, Ames & Frey in California. Erickson holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Michigan and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of California at Berkeley. He is a member of the Order of the Coif and the California Bar Association. |

Denice Jasper is First Vice President for Marshall BankFirst's Native American Finance and Gaming Division. Based in Minneapolis, she has more than 18 years of industry experience. She is responsible for structuring and placing financing for gaming and hotel projects as well as a variety of projects secured by gaming revenues. Since joining the firm in 1994, Jasper's focus has been on transactions in Indian Country. Along with taxable debt offerings, she has experience in structuring tax-exempt debt products for qualified public purpose projects such as schools, cultural centers, convention centers, roads, water, sewer and wastewater treatment facilities. She has worked with more than 30 tribes in 12 states. Jasper attended St. Cloud State University. |

John Jagiela is the General Counsel of Marshall BankFirst Corp. Jagiela began his professional career as a certified public accountant with the public accounting firm of Ernst & Young in Detroit, Michigan. Prior to joining The Marshall Group, he was associated with the New York law firm of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy and was a partner with the O'Connor & Hannan law firm in Minneapolis and Washington, D.C. He has extensive experience in the enforcement of rights and remedies relative to under-performing and non-performing loans. He also has had extensive experience with the implementation of processes and procedures to monitor and obtain borrower compliance with loan obligations and covenants. He has been involved in the structuring and management of complex worldwide joint ventures, and the formation of offshore insurance companies, real estate holding entities and other foreign entities. Jagiela holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Minnesota. He also holds a master's of law degree from New York University. He is licensed to practice law in New York and Minnesota and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. |
